Welcome to Cityscape Prayer Ministries site!
Cityscape is a Canadian intercessory ministry committed to seeing the Kingdom of God come in our nation. We are specifically called to raise up intercession in the cities of Canada and help intercessors across the land keep the fire on the altars of their hearts burning.
Founded in 2003, after a decade of city-wide prayer initiatives in Vancouver, Cityscape has grown to connect a wide range of cities across the nation and our leaders are mentoring hundreds of intercessors into a greater effectiveness in prayer.
It's our heart to serve the nation's intercessors, helping them become the battle-ready, unified and skilled fighting force that the Father is awakening "for such a time as this". We believe the cities in our nation are the critical battlegrounds, as they were in Joshua's day, and we long to see each one of them welcome the King of Glory in all his grace and transforming power.
How do we do this?
Mentoring- We are actively mentoring many intercessors through the Gadite Track, through the National School of Intercession, and through all the ministry opportunities that the Lord opens up for us. We are especially excited about mentoring the next generation, and the Cityscape leaders that are men are focused on raising up and unleashing the male warriors in intercession!
Connecting- We are committed to reach out to build relational bridges between the intercessors from various parts of Canada. No place is too isolated to be cut off from the Body of Christ. We all need each other. Our Red Leaf House of Prayer and Gadite Track are excellent ways to stay connected for even intercessors that are in remote locations. Cityscape also frequently brings teams to visit cities for relationship, encouragement and uniting to help push in prayer for strategic breakthroughs.
Aligning- We believe that it is critical for intercessors to be aligned with the prophetic and apostolic revelation that is being given to the nation. Cityscape is actively seeking to facilitate this, either by praying into specific strategic words or establishing intercessory structures to respond to new territory the Lord is asking the Church to take.
Praying- Of course the heart of what God has called us to in the nation is intercession. We believe that deep, fervent and united intercession breaks though and births God's purposes for Canada and the nations. This is the level of intercession we seek to make our standard. This is the level of intercession we seek to multiply until Canada itself becomes a house of prayer -for the nations.
